David Richman
President & Chief Executive Officer

David Richman, President & CEO of Rakow Commercial Realty Group, oversees the day to day operations, as well as acting as the principal commercial real estate broker for the firm.

David is a highly-skilled, accomplished and knowledgeable commercial real estate broker and advisor with over 16 years of experience in negotiating commercial property sales and leases including lease renewals, renegotiations and relocations. His expertise is in office, medical, retail, industrial and investment properties.

He attributes his success to maintaining strong client relationships, being persistent and providing personalized hands-on service.

In addition to his volunteer activities with the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, David has served on the Board of Directors of Kids X-Press and the Advisory Board of the Lighthouse Guild. He is President of the Executive Forum Business Group and is an active member of the Business Council of Westchester and the Westchester County Association.

David was named one of Westchester County’s Rising Stars in 2009 by the Business Council of Westchester.

He is an avid tennis player and enjoys coaching youth sports and spending time with his wife and three young children.

space, Rick saw a trend emerging among the more sophisticated tenants. They were bringing in their own leasing specialists to regain advantage lost to landlords and their agents, who conduct real estate transactions every day. Seizing the opportunity, Rick opened one of this region’s first commercial real estate companies focused on the needs of tenants; he now runs the largest tenant advocacy firm in the region.While he is most familiar with properties in Westchester and Fairfield Counties and surrounding areas, Rick has handled assignments as far away as Vancouver, Canada, the states of Nevada, Ohio, Florida, New Jersey, Rhode Island and New Hampshire – with a skill set that travels well. All in all, Rick has personally concluded several hundred transactions successfully over these last 30 years and his firm now assists in hundreds of transactions on behalf of tenants every year.

Rick has also represented many landlords through the years, such as Benerofe Properties, The Beekman Estate, Amcott Associates, Buckingham Properties, WP Mall Realty, North Street Community, LLC, Cohen Brothers Realty, Stillman Management, Broadway Freeform, Marli Hartsdale, Polymer Management Associates, Reggie Pink, LLC and more, to lease or sell their properties.

Perhaps more important, in addition to his business dealings, Rick has served on the Board of Directors for over 12 years now and was the Chairman of the Board for The Food Bank for Westchester ( from 2011 – 2015. They provide +/- 7,500,000 pounds of food annually to the more than 200,000 food challenged of Westchester County. In addition, Rick served on many committees for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation and personally helped them raise well over $1,000,000. His initiatives helped them raise millions more and continue to this day. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Westchester Division for three years and chaired many special events committees. He is a past Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee for the entire Northern Metro Chapter and also served as Chairman of the Board for the Westchester Division of The American Heart Association.

He is active in helping several other charitable and Business organizations in Westchester, is a Past Vice President of The Business Council of Westchester and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Westchester County Association.

Bruce is married and has a grown daughter and son both who live and work in NYC. He grew up in Scarsdale and has lived in the Bedford / Armonk area for almost 25 years. Bruce is an avid golfer, played baseball, basketball and tennis and has sponsored and coached youth baseball and basketball in Armonk for 10 years. Peter Robinson has served the Westchester County market as a highly respected commercial real estate representative for more than 28 years. Peter is known as a dedicated tenant ally. He strongly believes a deal does not end once the lease is signed. “Many issues may arise during a tenant’s lease that their broker can help resolve.” Peter also specializes in optimizing commercial building sales for both buyers and sellers.

Brad Steinthal

After growing up in White Plains, Brad has lived in Harrison for over 20 years, with his wife, son and daughter. Michael Zingone

Michael L. Zingone recently joined the Rakow Commercial Realty Group in January 2014. He is looking forward to providing commercial services to both tenants and landlords in representing each in their individual real estate needs and negotiations. His primary focus being the Fairfield County and the Connecticut Market as well as working along with his associates at Rakow in the Westchester County area.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies at Rutgers University. Prior to joining the Rakow Commercial Realty Group, Michael was affiliated with an Energy Solutions Company working as a Direct Sales Energy Advisor. He was also associated in the Financial Services Industry working in a partnership as a Financial Sales Advisor. Michael has always been employed in some aspect of the service industry, starting from a very early age in life. He believes strongly in big dreams, hard work, careful attention to detail and good organizational skills are the keys to success.

He also takes his responsibilities seriously and believes in being thorough, dependable, logical, practical, realistic and going beyond the call of duty is the key to a successful outcome. Michael has a naturally built-in driven desire and dedication to helping people personally by incorporating this passion throughout his professional career when working and servicing his clients and developing client relations.

Michael has learned over the years you need to ask the right questions and understand their needs if you are going to help clients address and achieve both their short-term and long-term goals. Michael enjoys using his skills in the Culinary Arts and in Gardening. He firmly believes in helping people and giving back to the community where he did volunteered work for the organization “Puppies Behind Bars” where he helped in the socialization of puppies which were being groomed to be trained to be service dogs for Handicap and Disabled War Veterans and also for Explosive Detection for Law Enforcement.

Justin Mabus

Born and raised in Northern Westchester County Justin comes to Rakow Commercial Realty with great knowledge of the county and many built-in connections. Growing up with his family in the Hospitality business, Justin worked for the local hotel Doral Arrowwood and after college spent time down in Baltimore to work for the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel. With his experience in hospitality he gained many skills in customer services, client relationships, communication, plus many more.

Justin graduated college in May of 2015 from Towson University, during his time there he received a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and was a four-year starter for the Men’s Division I lacrosse team. In his lacrosse career at Towson, Justin was named captain his senior year and was a part of two CAA-Conference Championship teams and made two NCAA Tournament appearances.

With his background in sports and hospitality, Justin brings Rakow Commercial Realty Group, great attitude, passion to succeed and customer service skills.

Justin works with many local youth and high school lacrosse programs in his spear time. He gives back to these programs to share his knowledge and experience. He also, works with players trying to reach the next level and assists them in the recruiting process by giving advice and reaching out to his large lacrosse network on their behalf.
